Find comparable evidence

Enter a KartVIN, or describe the kart. More complete specifications improve comparable quality.

Evidence boundarySeller condition is treated as reported, not verified. Asking prices are discounted. A completed KartExchange transaction carries substantially more weight.

Methodology KEV-1.0

Transparent by design.

The first methodology uses interpretable comparable evidence, source-quality weighting, recency decay and robust outlier filtering. It widens the search carefully when the market is thin and lowers confidence accordingly.

Verified transactions carry more weight than asking prices.
Similarity and recency affect every comparable.
Extreme prices are retained in the ledger but excluded from the estimate when robust outlier rules identify them.
Estimates are withheld when the evidence threshold is not met.

Evidence hierarchy

A sale is stronger evidence than an ask.

TIER 01–03

Asking evidence

External asks, native asks and price changes are observable—but they do not prove transaction value.

TIER 04–05

Market behavior

Time on market and removals add liquidity context without being mislabeled as confirmed sales.

TIER 06–07

Sale evidence

Reported sales improve the picture; completed KartExchange transactions carry much greater weight.

TIER 08

KartVIN history

Verified, KartVIN-linked transaction history is the strongest evidence in the current hierarchy.
